Seney Trail Report – 02/16

SENEY AREA UPDATE via Seney Snowmobile Association – 02/16

Drifting snow created tabletop moguls on 431 last night, we cut with the front blade most of the way to Carlson Camp Road and back, it was a slow go but it came together nicely, 440 is groomed up to the turnaround, some drifting snow but the woods slowed the drifting and its in great shape, picture is looking southeast on 440 after cutting small drifts on the way out. Ride Right, Stay Safe

We have such great people that come up to help us it truly is amazing! We have club members who bring up there own equipment just to make the trails the best they can be. We’d like to thank Tom Downs, Jamie Nash, Darrin Marsh and Travis Veit for putting on another great breakfast. Moose Du Nord for providing us Lunch for all the volunteers that helped us out for the trail cleanup. Pam and Tom Adgate for cooking all of us dinner. Michigan Snowmobile Trail Report

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan - With meteorological summer underway, here’s a look back at how the 2020-2021 snowfall season stacked up across the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The snow season certainly didn’t stack up to U.P. standards as snowfall ranged from roughly 20 to as much as around 80 inches below the long term average. The greatest departures occurred in some areas within the Lake Superior snowbelts. The last winter that had a poor snow showing on par with what occurred this past winter was 2011-2012. Seney Trail Report – 02/06

SENEY AREA UPDATE via Seney Snowmobile Association – 02/06

We got about 8 to 10 inches of snow out of the storm. All trails are in good shape. Our groomers will be going out today so watch out for them. There’s a lot of sleds out riding so ride right and stay safe.
