Cadillac Area Trail Report – 01/17

CADILLAC AREA UPDATE via Coyote Crossing Resort – 1/17

Groomer just carved the path for the Coyote Cup track for tomorrow! Forecast looks great with 6+ inches expected tonight! ❄️❄️❄️ #snowphotos

January 14th, 2020

Hello- Rode today around Caberfae, Coyote, LPL and Boon. Most conditions were pretty good overall, but some thin spots on Trail 6 south and west of Caberfae. Was told conditions were also mostly good up around Mesick as well. Chance of a few inches coming this week and possible storm for the weekend? Should be busy upcoming weekend, with MLK long weekend for many and also hosting our Coyote Cup youth race. We could use another 4-6″ to really get things in good shape and have more for groomers to work with. At this point, the groomers have not gone out, but we’re getting close. Think SNOW! Pete

Divide the forecast amount in half and then take a 25% margin on top of that to remove the standard Michigan “let’s make everyone panic” forecast over prediction. 15 inches predicted is really 5.5” of actual snowfall.

I think it will be 13" 😁My husband and I will be there this weekend!

See you this weekend!

See you this weekend!

We'll be there!

Come on AccuWeather!!

Per Michigan standards it will be a dusting

This season we added 3 new rooms on the main level of the Mackenzie Lodge. This means we now have handicap accessible rooms and an even better ski-in/ski-out experience. What do you think of the new look?

What’s the first availability night

We stayed in one in November (the weekend after Thanksgiving when there was tons of snow) and loved it!!!! Looks even better now with the rug and pictures. 😍

Very Nice!! Wonderful that you are encouraging ADA folks to come skiing!!

They look perfect! I think most would prefer a larger TV but then again you’re there skiing most the time sooo

Beautiful work guys! Love it

Stayed once...still no microwave or fridge? Tv is much to small for the distance to watch. Decor very nice...bed looks comfy. Do blinds block enough light out for those who want to nap during the day?

Saw them this morning. They are fabulous!

Looks great πŸ‘

Looks awesome!

They turned out beautiful.

Nicely done

They look fabulous!

Amy Bussott, might be time for a Kitchott family ski trip!
