What's New Wednesday at the Peaks: Bull Wheel Bearings.
This week we take a look at our behind the scenes ski lift maintenance. The crew spent part of the summer replacing the bearings on the top bull wheels. The key to keeping the lifts spinning during winter operations is a good off-season maintenance program. Check it out...

Love those season rates lol

$71.40

$25 in 1967 had the same buying power as $187 today.

$98.01 for single adult

My parents bought passes in that year! We had soooo much fun ♥️

We used to ski there with season passes... Great times!

Bring on the snow!!

When was the last time we were "Skiing from Thanksgiving to Easter"?

A family pass option would be awesome.

Way back machine.

From the way back machine !

I still have my seasons pass from that year. You had to have your photo taken and it was then trimmed and laminated onto a card with your printed information and punched through with a grommet hole and cord for exterior wear. We were also members of the Caberfae Ski Club, which is still there, and provided clubhouse parking, ski lockers, a large fireplace, a grill and a bar for adults. From the days of clamp down bindings, lace up leather boots and long poles with wide baskets. There was an Austrian ski school and they played Alpen oompah music over the public address speaker system on the hills.

And no "legal disclaimer!" LOL

My great grandpa George Martin passed away in 1967... he lived in Harrietta in the last house before going up the caberfae road! It’s gone now.. burnt down in the 90’s after being hit by lightning

That’s what made it possible for our family to ski all winter when I was growing up ! ❄️ 💕 ❄️

A $35 pass would be $98 assuming 2% inflation for 52 years. It would be $262 using actual inflation (CPI).

Cadillac Area Trail Report – 02/08

CADILLAC AREA UPDATE via Coyote Crossing Resort – Nice ride around the area yesterday! … view of Trail 637 near Lost Pines Lodge….

CADILLAC WINTER PROMOTIONS

February 7, 2018

Well it appears that winter has come back. We received about 5″ on the south end of our system over the weekend, slightly more on the north.

Trails are in fair condition with a icy base and a decent amount of snow. Looks like it will be here for awhile yet, so pack the trailer and come on up.

Groomers are running on a fairly regular basis and will be in full swing with any additional snow.

Respect the corners and ride safe. Make the most of what we have while you can.
