MUNISING AREA UPDATE via Alger County SORVA >> 03/20 We did see 6″ of snow overnight. We had the trails pretty flat and icy is most areas. After the wind and drifting we will determine what / if makes sense to groom. Picture shown is showing an example of hazards on side of trail being exposed after some melt down. Frostbite can occur in less than 10 minutes on exposed skin in this weather. The Snow was wet and heavy. Plenty of wind.
Please watch out for down trees.
There is also some drifting to watch for.
Most trails still have plenty of base but its rock hard.
This fluff on top should make for some good riding.
We will have folks out inspecting today.
