We did get about 4 to 6 inches of wet heavy snow. We didn’t get enough to send out the groomers. We will do more damage than good if we send them out. They are calling for 40 deg temps tomorrow. If it cools down next week and we get more snow and we can send them out we will. Warmer than normal temperatures continue through the week. Highs in the upper 30s to low 50s today, coldest north underneath cloudy skies and warmer south under sunny skies. Lows near or just above freezing late in the week. A very special thank you to the Newberry Post Honor Guard for helping us honor our Veterans in such a meaningful and respectful way. Your presence added so much to the day and reminded us all why this event is so important.
We are so grateful to our volunteers, ride guides, groomer operators, sponsors, and everyone who helped make this day possible. Seeing all the snowmoilers come together to support and celebrate our Veterans is what this ride is all about.
