PARADISE AREA UPDATE via Town Hall Snowmobile Club Paradise MI >> 02/18
Started the tracker a little late Sunday but we’ve had epic conditions the past two days. A little over 300 miles with my 13 year old in the first two days- Love it!! All trails we’ve touched have been excellent (hats off to TASA being down a groomer but still getting it done- just a few bumpy corners and they were out cleaning up 45). Some of the best snow conditions in years- careful as most corners are now blind as the snow banks are so tall- also many signs are buried so not all stops and sharp corners have warnings.

11 degrees this morning and snowing….still. I picked up a solid 4″ here at my place last night. The weather this winter has been outstanding, what a difference from last year, eh? It looks like it will keep up into the forseeable future too!
As far as the trails go…..I`m still gonna use the word EPIC. It plain just don`t get any better! Yesterday was maintenance day so nobody was out but we will hit them full bore today.
I just don`t have anything more to report. The weather is EPIC…..the trails are EPIC….its all good folks…..come on U.P. or you`ll miss out!!!

NEWBERRY AREA UPDATE via Halfway Lake Cottages, LLC >> When they closed the doctors offices last night because of conditions then we woke to about 6 inches of snow on top of ice, Chris decided to stay home. He spent 5 hours plowing then we went for a ride. We took 9 to Pine Stump and back and it was an amazing ride minus the sleeping child riding with me! We passed the groomer on the way there and on the way back! The picture of our backs is actually from the TASA page! Hey - it’s a family picture! 😂 #newberry #snowphotos

You may have been one of the few groups I saw today. Pretty sure I saw you on 9 today. My favorite trail in Michigan but it has taken 5 of my helmets peaks this winter. I plan on doing some brushing this summer on 9.

we rode 9 saturday and sunday it was perfect, almost doesnt need groomed , 433 and 431 were in need and 440 needs closed down all together, most everything else could use it but not bad
