Big group headed out. Trails shouldn’t be too busy today. Groomers were out last night and they looked pretty smooth this morning. 4-6 inches expected should be a great week to ride

Groomers are out! Trails should be getting a little better. Our guests today said they were good and pretty flat. Gonna be better tomorrow. We have a couple of sleds left for Saturday and a few for Sunday as well.
More snow expected Sunday. Maybe winter is gonna show up yet!

Trails are pretty good overall. Couple of thin spots and a few icy corners, but overall trails held up great through the busy weekend. Groomers are doing a great job keeping our system in nice shape. Spent the afternoon guiding a group of ladies that were up here for a girls weekend! They were great riders and had a great time.
Trails are in the best shape they’ve been all year. Groomers have been out all week working hard to keep the trails in great shape for all of us. Cold today with some fresh snow. We have a couple sleds left for tomorrow and Monday. Pretty well sold out for Saturday and Sunday. Please be respectful of the groomers. Slow down on the hilltops and corners. It’s more fun to come back safe and have stories to tell than to make an unnecessary mistake out there.

This is shared from the GTASC, we did talk to the groomer as he came into Peegeos as well. Been pretty much the same all week.
Groomers were out all day yesterday. The trails are still in
pretty good condition. There is a 1/4 mile section of snirt half way between the Kalkaska warming hut and Jack Pine rd. But there is still a ton of snow out there to ride on. Get out and ride! I was in the groomer for 11 hours and I was laying down some beautiful smooth tracks. Trials should have set up nice over night since there wasn’t a lot of traffic. I did get passed by a pack of 40 riders from Lake City on their way to Peegeo’s for a late lunch. Hope they enjoyed the extra effort that the club is putting in the trails this year trying to keep them as smooth as possible.
