LAKE GOGEBIC AREA UPDATE via Gogebic Area Grooming – 02/21
Pics sent in by Steve last night covering 13n and 13s. We also covered 102 and 1n.. Currently snowing and so far have received +6". They are calling for snow all week with something substantial on Thursday.
Remember, even with new snow accumulating it too will create bumps until we have a chance to set each trail. Be patient. We have 2 new gentleman starting this week that will definitely help us out getting to everything quicker.
13n, 1s, 8e, 102 and 1n will all be covered tonight.

We had our share of cold weather challenges yesterday but all is well.
Steve of Team Hamilton's North Coast Adventures had a day!

Trail #12 from White Pine to Ontonagon.
Trail # 101 from 12 to 13.
Trail #13 from 101 to 137.
Trail #137 from 13 to Ontonagon.
The attached picture is the bottom of "Rock Hill" on trail #13 after Steve's double pass.
We had a new operator on his first solo into The Porkies last night!! Welcome Chad to our
small dysfunctional family!

Cold and Snowy!!
Currently we're sitting around -9°.
Snowfall, I think it varies in each particular area but guessing we've received 20"+ over the past 3 day's..
As with any significant storm we receive it will take a few passes to get everything back in shape but the trail's hit tonight turned out good!
Trail's covered tonight 13n, 1n, 8w and 8e.
8w to Wakefield is in good shape now and no more water holes, a little narrow in spots but 💯 passable. Video is of 1n to White Pine. Thanks everyone.

Trail Condition: Good
Last Groomed: January 18th, 2026
We are grooming on a regular basis, conditions allowing.
The trails are very good.
Please ride on the RIGHT side of the trail and STOP at the stop signs!
Stay on the trail, if you don’t we could lose trail permissions on private property.
Groomers have the right of way on the trails, pull over and stop to let them safely pass!
We now have Groomer Tracker installed in our groomers.
We groom every day that the weather conditions and equipment allow. Unforeseen circumstances may prevent us from going out, like a major blizzard and being snowed in at our homes or equipment breakdowns. #westernup
