LAKE GOGEBIC AREA UPDATE via Gogebic Area Grooming – 02/21 Pics sent in by Steve last night covering 13n and 13s. We also covered 102 and 1n.. Currently snowing and so far have received +6". They are calling for snow all week with something substantial on Thursday. Remember, even with new snow accumulating it too will create bumps until we have a chance to set each trail. Be patient. We have 2 new gentleman starting this week that will definitely help us out getting to everything quicker. 13n, 1s, 8e, 102 and 1n will all be covered tonight. Blizzard Warnings have moved South to include Leelanau, Emmet, Cheboygan, Southeastn Chippewa, Mackinac Island/Bois Blanc, Beaver Island. Ice Storm Warnings have moved South to include Wexford, Missaukee, Oscoda, Alcona and Alpena Counties. Winter Weather Advisories now include Clare, Osceola Counties.
The warm line is farther South keeping higher totals North. Winds continue to pick up along with the snow tonight.
