MUNISING AREA UPDATE via TNT Trenary Northern Trails >> 02/04
We are still helping out our neighbors to the east. Made another run for them and us last night. We groomed trail 8 to m94, 7 up to Christmas, 417 up to the Brownstone, and 418 over to AuTrain, then back on 8 down to Rumely. The new snow is really helping the trail. No grooming is being done on 418 west of the Brownstone yet due to lack of snow. We will continue to help out S.O.R.V.A. as long as we have people to operate the groomer. This has been our greatest task this year. Getting help. Anyone interested in learning how to groom, we could use more people. As always, ride right, ha e fun, and be safe out there.

MUNISING AREA UPDATE via Fletchy’s Pictured Rocks Resort >> 02/04
That’s cabin #1 on the bayside in Grand Marais, Mr.Johnson the longtime logger in town said there would be days like these. He can remember in 1971 the snowmobiles were driving over the roof tops all year.

MUNISING AREA UPDATE via Alger County SORVA >> 02/03
The Bison is in the groomer barn with the John Deere 6175.
Both are being worked on side by side.
So far it looks like the Deere is going to be back up before the Bison.
We are doing all we can to ensure we are getting these groomers back on the trail ASAP. The trails have been holding up and our neighbor clubs are going above and beyond. TNT, Big Bay De Noc, Schoolcraft…… we owe you several beers at least.
Sorry no real trail pictures – the groomers are slacking on sending in pictures. I can share pictures of piles of parts and tools but will spare you.

TROUT LAKE - EASTERN U.P. UPDATE via The Rail House-Trout Lake MI >> Welp... we had to give it a shot but only made it a few miles before we turned around and headed back in. The wind makes it hard to tell exactly how much snow we have gotten in the last 24hrs but its pretty significant. Roads are NOT passable. Please don't try to go out until the county trucks are able to do a pass or 2. If you are familiar with our area, this pic was taken on Huckleberry road on the South side of the lake. #troutlake #newberry #snowphotosWelp... we had to give it a shot but only made it a few miles before we turned around and headed back in.
