PARADISE AREA UPDATE via Paradise Area Night Riders www.paradiseareanightriders.org - January 20, 2022
7 degrees this morning with a light snow. Looks like I picked up about 2 inches on my deck from last night. "They" are calling for a couple more today.
Groomer Dave M. ran the South trail #8 yesterday and called it excellent! First time this year I`ve got to use that term and I`m picky when it comes to using it! He even rated the swamp south of town as good. We are runnin this trail again today.
Groomer Kevin ran the Falls trail #45 and called it very good. He said it was pretty choppy on his way out but on his way back it was much better. After runnin it again tonight I`ll bet we can upgrade that one too.
We had a minor issue with a machine so the Pine Stump trail #8 didn`t get hit yesterday but Groomer Mike C. is on it right now.
All this new snow in the last couple of days has helped us out tremendously! By the end of todays activities I`ll bet we can move all trail ratings to very good to excellent! This weekend should be awesome! COME ON UP!
LET `ER SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

19 degrees this morning and its snowin and blowin! It was doing the same last evening and last night but it is really hard to tell how much snow we got. I`ve got just a couple inches on my deck but can see some pretty big drifts in my parking lot.....lets just say its all good!!!
Groomer Mike H. ran the Point trails yesterday and called them really good. He did skip the far north side of #452 cause it is down to dirt but that should be better now.
We are hittin the South trail #8, Falls trail and the Stump trail all today. With this new snow I should be upgrading everything to really good. I`ll let ya`ll know in tomorrows report. All I have for you today.

PARADISE AREA UPDATE via Paradise Area Night Riders www.paradiseareanightriders.org - January 17, 2022
21 degrees this morning and cloudy. No new snow in the last week and our trails are starting to show it. We are supposed to get some through-out this week though. Here`s a run down on our system.....
Groomer Kevin ran the Point trails yesterday. He rated them from poor to really good. The north side is really thin on snow and pretty much down to dirt but the rest of this trail is really good. I am runnin the south trail #8 today, Mike C. is runnin the Stump trail #8 and Gerald is heading to the Falls on #45. I`ll let ya`ll know how they turned out in tomorrows report.
This past weekend was crazy busy. Because of no snow "down below", everybody filtered to da yoop. Frankly, I am disappointed on how some people behaved. We had numerous close calls with people going WAY too fast and almost hittin the groomers. One of our drivers almost got hit 5 times in a ten mile stretch! He almost said the heck with this and jumped on the road to get back to the barn! I was hit once on the Falls trail. We had one bad accident in a tight section of trail because of speed. The town trail was nuts from jerks going way to fast and jumping driveways. The speed limit in town is 15 MPH! Law enforcement has been notified and they are gonna double up enforcement this next weekend and into the future. I could go on and on about things that happened this weekend because of these speed idiots but I`ll put it to rest here with this warning......you are being watched! I know 90% of you don`t fall into this catagory, but the 10% that do are in for a wake up! Nuff said.
LET `ER SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

45 wasn’t groomed all weekend and it hasn’t been touched today. Once you get past the falls 45 gets better. If your headed west take 8 it’s been groomed recently. 452,453 were perfected.

Thats not true.

PARADISE AREA UPDATE via Paradise Area Night Riders www.paradiseareanightriders.org - January 19, 2022
LET `ER SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
