1/23 2:30 pm update
Heads up! Turbo and Diane will be heading out to pan 889 and part of 8 in the Bay Mills/Raco area in a little bit. They rode the area yesterday and feel it will help lock them up before the warm up.
Please watch for them if you’re out.
We will have a full report with photos later tonight when they are back.

Update 1/23
Good morning all!
Just a quick update- we have not received any new snow, so grooming is still on hold. We are watching the forecast for the warm up with temps forecasted to be above freezing the next few days. I don’t see any rain as of right now, but it has changed several times in just a few days.
Wish I had better news, but that’s where we are at for now. Trails remain thin in most areas, but snow is deeper to the west and south.

Frostbite can occur in less than 10 minutes on exposed skin in this weather. Good morning! Bryan and his son Logan hit the city trails last night and also 49 down to 7 mile and they turned out great! The little streams behind Kewadin Casino are still flowing (see the video in the comments) even with all of the cold, but our bridges have made a huge difference in there! There is one spot along the Kewadin trail that is soft and we keep filling it in as best we can. Likely a nonissue for the weight of a sled, but worth mentioning.
