SAULT STE. MARIE UPDATE via Sault Ste. Marie Snowmobile Association – 01/23
1/23 2:30 pm update
Heads up! Turbo and Diane will be heading out to pan 889 and part of 8 in the Bay Mills/Raco area in a little bit. They rode the area yesterday and feel it will help lock them up before the warm up.
Please watch for them if you’re out.
We will have a full report with photos later tonight when they are back.
Thanks!

Update 1/23
Good morning all!
Just a quick update- we have not received any new snow, so grooming is still on hold. We are watching the forecast for the warm up with temps forecasted to be above freezing the next few days. I don’t see any rain as of right now, but it has changed several times in just a few days.
Wish I had better news, but that’s where we are at for now. Trails remain thin in most areas, but snow is deeper to the west and south.
Keep an eye on these pages for the areas closest to us-
Chippewa Snowchasers (also on Groomer Tracker)
Les Cheneaux Snowmobile Club & Grooming Report (also on groomer tracker)
Paradise Area Night Riders
I’ll keep you posted as things change in this totally wacked out season?
