Munising Area Trail Report – 02/17
MUNISING AREA UPDATE via Alger County SORVA – 02/17
2-17-2024
We saw 3 to 4 inches of system snow followed up with some Lake Effect.
Totals are 7 to 10 inches. We have folks out riding and inspecting the trails.
Getting reports of snirt already showing in high traffic areas.
There are areas where gravel and dirt is exposed.
We have spoken to the surrounding clubs and none of them are grooming.
Seney, Schoolcraft, TNT —
There is snow out there. By all means you can ride.
We have decided it is not worth sending out the groomers.
We would be mixing in dirt in to the snow we have which will only cause it to deteriorate faster and the damage to equipment.
