Cadillac Area Trail Report – 01/21

CADILLAC AREA UPDATE via Coyote Crossing Resort >> 01/21

Conditions – Fair to Good

Snow last 24 hrs- 3”

Hello – Groomers went out Sunday and definitely helped the conditions.. Things were pretty rough after MLK holiday traffic. With base being 1-3”, Winter Promotions groomer drivers are going out as necessary and being careful not to destroy the minimal base .

We have received about 2-4” since Sunday . Keep doing the SNOW DANCE as things are improving daily .

RIDE RIGHT! Pete • We do have 1 cabin available this weekend. – better book quickly

As always , we are closed on Tuesdays and open at 4 on Wednesday.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> A major winter storm will continue to impact northern Michigan, bringing dangerous travel conditions to much of the area. Heavy snow and strong winds gusting to 45-55+ mph are expected to create localized blizzard conditions across open areas at times from mid-morning into early afternoon. Drifting snow may make travel especially difficult on secondary roadways. Power outages will also be possible, especially across areas that experienced icing on Sunday. Be sure to use extreme caution if having to travel across northern Michigan today! #miweather #gaylord #cadillac #benzie #traversecity #petoskeyA major winter storm will continue to impact northern Michigan, bringing dangerous travel conditions to much of the area. Traverse City Area Trail Report – 01/21

TRAVERSE CITY AREA UPDATE via Ranch Rudolf >> 01/21

Even the banks of the Boardman River are frozen and ice chunks are floating down stream-truly don’t think I’ve ever seen that before. Currently -18 degrees in the valley. But no wind and beautiful blue sky- honestly a beautiful day ☀ ❄

Horses and livestock are doing amazing! Thankful for all hands on deck because it sure is a process to check and do all necessary chores and preparations throughout the day and the night to ensure everyone is staying warm and happy ❤
