TRAVERSE CITY AREA UPDATE via Grand Traverse Area Snowmobile Club >> 01/23
Well, our 1 to 3 inches forecasted for today turned into a Winter Storm Warning. I just returned from a groom and there is 6 inches of fresh on the southern part of the trails and up to 10-12 inches as we went north.
Today, I trained our newest groomer driver Mike. He did an outstanding job for his first time in the seat. Thanks Mike for joining the team. In addition, (I forgot to mention in yesterdays post) Pat trained Jim on the north trail! Welcome aboard gentleman we appreciate the help.
Get out and ride those trails!! Remember, Ride Right, Ride Safe, Ride Sober.

Heavy snow and strong winds gusting to 45-55+ mph are expected to create localized blizzard conditions across open areas at times from mid-morning into early afternoon. Drifting snow may make travel especially difficult on secondary roadways. Power outages will also be possible, especially across areas that experienced icing on Sunday.
