HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 02/24
This winter has been a rollercoaster to say the least, tons of snow then super warm on repeat. For now we are back to snow! We got about 8-10” between Wednesday night & this morning.
We had all three groomers out last night and the trails look pretty good. The base is solid ice and the snow is fluffy so fingers crossed it holds up.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Lake effect snow continues through Thursday, with widespread accumulations of 2 to 4 inches across northwest Lower and near/around Whitefish Point. WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> A system passing to our south will bring another round of light snow to the area through Wednesday morning. WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Cold temperatures and continued brisk winds tonight will result in bitter cold wind chills of -10°F to -24°F across northern Michigan this morning. Be sure to take the proper precautions if spending time outdoors! Conditions improve this afternoon.
Good chances for snow showers will continue this week. After the cold today, temperatures rebound a bit Wednesday, but that will not last.
