Harbor Springs Trail Report – 12/22

HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 12/22

We got about 5” of fresh snow last night but we still need a lot more to start grooming. All of the private land gates are closed. We are still working our way through the trail system cleaning up the mess from the storm last week. If your able to get out and help it is appreciated! You can pretty much drive down any trail and find something that needs to be done.
A huge thank you to all the volunteers that have been out clearing trails! We couldn’t do it without all of you!
Now if Mother Nature would BRING US SOME SNOW!

Harbor Springs Trail Report – 12/16

HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 12/16

We had a record breaking day, it was 63 degrees this morning in Pellston breaking the old record of 57 degrees which occurred in 1984. We also had extremely high winds all day today.
With that being said, all of our snow is gone and I’m sure there are tons of trees & branches down on our trails. Some of our members are planning on getting out tomorrow and this weekend to do some cleanup. If anyone has some time to spare, we would appreciate the help!
