TRAVERSE CITY AREA UPDATE via Grand Traverse Area Snowmobile Club – 2/24 We received a couple inches of lake effect fluff overnight. All groomers will be heading out this evening, so if your out please keep an eye out for them. We are forecasted to get 1-3 tonight and possibly a storm on Monday so keep your fingers crossed. Get out there and take advantage of it. Remember, Ride Right, Ride Safe and Ride Sober. <> TRAVERSE CITY AREA UPDATE via Grand Traverse Area Snowmobile Club – 2/23 Well, we only got about 6-7 inches of snow from the storm. We went out for a ride today and would rate the trails as fair with some poor spots. The recent warm ups left us with ice under the snow. Not sure how long they are going to hold up, we definitely need more snow. Groomer driver Don went out on the west trail and reported excellent conditions. Groomer driver Jeff was on the south trail and reported some drifting in the open areas and rated the trails as excellent. We will be out again tomorrow.
