NEWBERRY AREA UPDATE via TASA Tahquamenon Area Snowmobile Association – 03/21
Might be the last hurrah. We pulled the trigger and sent a groomer north up to pan trial 9. Conditions are going to be spotty because of all the wind that came with the snow. Grand Marais sent groomers out as well. Please watch for hazards.

NEWBERRY AREA UPDATE via Pine Stump – 03/21
I keep getting a ton of calls this week “how’s the snow”.
It keeps doing this but between the wind and stuff It added up nowhere near the forecasts. Your probably lucky to get 8 inch pockets
I wouldn’t ride but could you put a few miles on possibly. The guys last night said it was rough. I doubt anyone’s going to groom. They weren’t complaining that they came so ….
Here’s my takeaway. I’d love to see you this weekend. I tell it how it is.
Come up and be at peace if the snow sucks? You could hang out with us and watch March madness and have great food and drinks.
I could use the business badly but I’m not going to paint a picture of an amazing situation. No epic conditions ladies and gentleman.
I’m telling you how it is and not telling you what you want to hear.

It looks like our snowmobile season has come to an early end. There has been little to no snow on the ground for several weeks, with temperatures ranging from 30 – 65 degrees. We hope you’ll come visit us for some warm season fun over the coming months while we wait for next winter to begin!
As always, check back with us for updates and weather reports.
Its friday afternoon in frederic, have had calls wondering how much snow. A whole 1 inch on top of nothing. Funny part about that is there were 3 sleds that felt there was enough snow to ride. I took a pic of them over at the swamp about an hour or so ago. No way would I go out in this. Still 9 days of riding season left but I cant see any thing happening. Supposed to be 50 again this coming week. Wish I had better news. The 3 diehards from today are pictured below. Thanks for checking in. Pete
