Hopefully a lot of you are on your way to ride somewhere this holiday weekend! If you are coming UP to Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula….. there is a lot of white gold in the making for you!

Anywhere from 12-18 inches of snow is forecasted to fall, followed by the Lake Effect Snow guns being turned on! 👏

It looks to be some awesome riding days ahead.

Snowmobile trails are in good to very good condition throughout the Keweenaw.  Trails are groomed daily throughout the region.

• Valley Sno Drifters trail from Lake Linden to Dreamland Restaurant & Bar is OPEN!
• The Portage Lift Bridge is open to snowmobile traffic.
• Trail 133 around the Gay stamp sands is closed for logging.
• Trail 3 from Dollar Bay to Lake Linden and the Freda Trail (south of the Portage Lake Lift Bridge) will be closed the entire season for repair.

Remember when you’re out on the trails to watch out for the groomers.  They have the right away.

Please stay on the trails, STAY OFF THE ICE, respect private property, do not drink and drive, and above all else, drive safely.  The signs on the trails are there for rider’s safety so please DO NOT remove or destroy them.
