BALDWIN AREA UPDATE via Trailriders Snowmobile Club >> 01/24 1/24 Newaygo Trail update: Special thanks to Mike Keith. Everything was froze up, he couldn’t get the saw out of the back of the groomer. All he had was a hatchet that he carries to keep the ice off the steps. So he can get in and out of the tractor. He spent over 2 hours with a hatchet, chopping up that debris to get it out of the trail. Hats off to Mike one of our great volunteers and dedicated board members. He went over and above, last night in terrible conditions. We are grooming regularly in all sections when the weather cooperates. With the warmer days coming we may be out sporadically but will be out grooming as much as we can.
