Overall trail conditions are very good. Grooming operations were getting good results again last night. High traffic weekend so expect conditions to deteriorate after grooming.

TRAVERSE CITY UPDATE via Grand Traverse Area Snowmobile Club​ – 1/17

GET OUT AND RIDE! I was in the groomer for 9 hours yesterday and the club plans on running the groomers on a regular schedule from now on. Are the trails perfect? Nope not yet, but there is enough snow for some great riding. I did put the tractor thru a large puddle of water on trail 55 just West of Broom Head road. Should have frozen back up overnight but please be careful. Snow gets thinner the farther South you go. Tons of snow toward Kalkaska. Don’t let a couple of wind blown thin spots keep you on the couch. Plenty of great riding out there!
