GRAND MARAIS UPDATE via Grand Marais Sno-Trails Assoc. – 03/04
From groomer Emmett on the north trail last night-A beautiful groom on a beautiful night turned out beautiful.
From groomer Michael last night-Well I thought I took a picture yesterday but guess not.
Trail wasn’t in too bad of shape. Your typical moguls. On trail 8 east lots of sugar snow.
From groomer Mike L-west is groomed and Helga’s sister is ready for the ball wished I could have done this in December before the sleds showed up but hey you get lemons you make lemonade the lemons are bad you add vodka or you could just drink the vodka and in a hour you forget you really wanted orange juice keep it on the right where the cool kids hangout

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> Expect scattered light lake effect snow showers in the NW wind snowbelts tonight with less than an inch of accumulation. Warmer weather is in store for midweek with highs in the 20s and even into the low 30s in the far west. Two round of light snow is expected on Thursday into Friday morning. 11 degrees this morning under partly cloudy skies. I got about 2" of fresh snow on my deck from last night. Nothing new to report on the trails except the loggers are done out by Pine Stump now, we`ll whip that in shape today and all will be good in sno-mo country! Our entire system will be groomed today, all trails are in GREAT SHAPE!!!!
My biggest question is....where is everybody? Its been slow all season U.P. here.....even on the weekends. Ya`ll are missing out. COME ON U.P.!!!!! Quick report as I`m heading out the door to go grooming.

Workin her pretty hard to get what you want, but we are.
She likes 7MPH tonight, should give an indication why we're Not much into stopping for oncoming traffic.
