LAKE GOGEBIC AREA UPDATE via Gogebic Area Grooming – 12/13
Good evening everyone a couple new updates. 1south on the westside of lake Gogebic was finished today. I still have a bridge railing to repair and I’m going to set a Culvert on the south end to get you guy’s and Gals off the road. I would not recommend riding this trail yet until we get a good amount of snow to pack in the wet spots. 13 south on the Eastside of Gogebic was also fully opened up today. I haven’t been able to get any details yet but did briefly speak to him and he said good to go… So that just leaves 8 west to Wakefield which we won’t touch until we get more snow. Here’s a few pics of 1 south today

We had our share of cold weather challenges yesterday but all is well.
Steve of Team Hamilton's North Coast Adventures had a day!

Trail #12 from White Pine to Ontonagon.
Trail # 101 from 12 to 13.
Trail #13 from 101 to 137.
Trail #137 from 13 to Ontonagon.
The attached picture is the bottom of "Rock Hill" on trail #13 after Steve's double pass.
We had a new operator on his first solo into The Porkies last night!! Welcome Chad to our
small dysfunctional family!

Cold and Snowy!!
Currently we're sitting around -9°.
Snowfall, I think it varies in each particular area but guessing we've received 20"+ over the past 3 day's..
As with any significant storm we receive it will take a few passes to get everything back in shape but the trail's hit tonight turned out good!
Trail's covered tonight 13n, 1n, 8w and 8e.
8w to Wakefield is in good shape now and no more water holes, a little narrow in spots but 💯 passable. Video is of 1n to White Pine. Thanks everyone.

We are grooming on a regular basis, conditions allowing.
The trails are very good.
Please ride on the RIGHT side of the trail and STOP at the stop signs!
Stay on the trail, if you don’t we could lose trail permissions on private property.
Groomers have the right of way on the trails, pull over and stop to let them safely pass!
We now have Groomer Tracker installed in our groomers.
We groom every day that the weather conditions and equipment allow. Unforeseen circumstances may prevent us from going out, like a major blizzard and being snowed in at our homes or equipment breakdowns. #westernup
