It’s sunday nite about 8, just got back home from checking things out in Frederic, there is about 3 to 4 inches there. I only saw a couple sets of sled tracks. I still say its way to early. On the weather forcast its quiet for the next few days and then it says watching storm for Thursday so maybe Santa will get us riding the day after Christmas. I am still waiting to open up until we get rideable conditions…..Just thought I would put a quick report. It was misting pretty good on the way home so that’s not a good sign. Thanks for checking in. WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> A system passing to our south will bring another round of light snow to the area through Wednesday morning. FREDERIC - GAYLORD AREA UPDATE via Sledheads of Frederic , Michigan Snowmobiling >> Conditions are A plus times ten. Rode to Lovells last night and then home, left home this morning and rode towards Starvation Lake and then down to Frederic, conditions on trails nice and fluffy and smooth. Happy to say that trail 7 south out of Frederic along with trails 47, 679 and 76 all very nice. I rode 26 miles back here to Frederic and came into sledheads to warm up and am heading back out. Its 16 degrees at almost 1 in the afternoon. Pics are from last night and this morning. Heading back out. Closed again and gone riding. Thanks for checking in. Pete #gaylord #snowphotos

Be sure to take the proper precautions if spending time outdoors! Conditions improve this afternoon.
Good chances for snow showers will continue this week. After the cold today, temperatures rebound a bit Wednesday, but that will not last.
