Things havent changed. Once again I am sticking with poor conditions but I am still surprised at the people out riding. Already had one group in here and its now 11:30. Riders want to ride and they are doing it even in these conditions. Hard and Icy, pics below I just took outside here at Sledheads.
Still alot of snow in the woods, its the trails that are gravel laden. We just have to deal with it. Not a flake of new snow here overnight and the big storm for downstate hasnt hit yet. O.k. I am done whining for today. Thanks for checking in. Pete

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Gusty winds combined with powdery lake effect snow will continue to lead to significant reductions in visibility with whiteouts at times through Friday, especially in open areas where snow can easily blow around. FREDERIC - GAYLORD AREA UPDATE via Sledheads of Frederic , Michigan Snowmobiling >> been trying to get onto my frederic page and cant do it, its now 4 on thursday, rode yesterday to gaylord, then vienna corners back to lovells and then frederic for a great 80 miles. Had loader here again today, sleds downtown grayling at the restaurant, winter campers in back yard of sledheads, yummy burger at vienna loader really stacked it up this time. hope to get my other page going again, dont know wha the deal is, lots of wind and white outs today, supposed to get colder tommorow. OSSA crew from Ohio State Snowmobile Association were and on their annual ride based out of Gaylord this year. Thanks for checking in. Pete #gaylord #snowphotos

Started out riding to Frederic from home and then to Starvation Lake, Alba, Jordan Valley Trail, D & K formally Larrys in Elmira, up the Chandler HIlls trail until I lost the trail right at dark, then a little ditch banging as after i lost the trail I started south and east as I knew I would hit the highway. Came out by Vanderbilt and theh hit the 7 trail back to Gaylord, Waters and Frederic…..Perfect day of riding. Met up with Big John and Speed Bump for Spike burgers about 9 last night.I might go again this afternoon as I am thinking about a burger at Talleys. Supposed to get cold this weekend.
