Ironwood Trail Report – 12/29

IRONWOOD / WESTERN U.P. UPDATE via Gogebic Range Trail Authority – ORV & Snowmobile Club – 12/29

IRONWOOD / WESTERN U.P. UPDATE via Gogebic Range Trail Authority – ORV & Snowmobile Club – We are looking for trail reports in the Marenisco, Wakefield, Bessemer and Ironwood areas. We have a few reports of trees down but nothing major as of yet, please message us your reports please! We did not receive the rain forecasted which is huge. Trails are soft and will likely have ponding. There may be new water cut’s across the trail, RIDE WITH EXTREME CAUTION FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. New year’s Eve and day rides should be amazing with fresh snow. But again, ride defensively as conditions will change rapidly with the rain received. As of right now it’s 34-38, fog, intermittent drizzle. Snow is coming baby!!

Trail 2 to Marenisco is pictured and in beautiful shape. Will the trails hold.up through an inch of rain, YUP! Will there be water hazards the club will have to fix, YUP! Saturday should be fantastic, get out early and RIDE!!
