This is the latest post from the Grand Traverse area Snowmobile Council

The groomer was out last night on the East trail and reported that the trails are taking a beating with the warm weather and the lack of heavy snow.
Driver reported some snirty corners and some open water puddles in spots. I would say current conditions are poor to fair. Still lots of snow out there but the trails are hurting.

As an added note our guide was out yesterday and noted there is plenty of snow for the most part and that some of the corners were a bit snirty. We are anticipating being open this weekend as it should be good to ride. I’ll update with any changes
