HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 02/28
We have been getting numerous reports that the lakes are not safe including Larks Lake & Wycamp ⚠️ We did not have any groomers out last night, trails are getting snirty, slushy, and icy in spots. It’s currently 50 degrees and we are supposed to get rain this afternoon, trail conditions are expected to deteriorate.

The trails are all ice and getting thin. As of right now there is snow in the forecast everyday next week, keep your fingers crossed 🤞🏼 ❄️

Temperatures are slow-going to rise, then suddenly as we reach the afternoon hours, temperatures snap into the mid-40's for much of the state. Many locations close to the MI/OH border may surpass 50°F. Further north, mid-30's are likely. Sunshine will be noticeable out there today, as partly cloudy skies are the main icon.
