TRAVERSE CITY AREA UPDATE via Grand Traverse Area Snowmobile Club – 2/25
Trail Report: 02-25-2022
We received about 3-4 inches of snow last night. The wife and I took a ride to see how the trails were. The base is icy from the sleet last week and the new snow was a welcomed sight. I don’t know how long this new snow will hold up but if you need to get a ride in don’t hesitate. Grooming operations have not started back up yet, we are going to hold off for the time being and see what the weather brings. The trails I rode today were hard and flat. If anything changes I will update you. Remember, Ride Right, Ride Sober, Ride Safe.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Snow will diminish this morning, ending by early afternoon. Some parts in northeast lower and far eastern upper Michigan may break out into partial sunshine this afternoon. However, north-northwest to northwest winds today will remain brisk. Gusts to around 30 mph will be common. That will produce areas of blowing and drifting snow today, especially in places that are more open and exposed. #miweather #gaylord #cadillac #benzie #traversecity #petoskeySnow will diminish this morning, ending by early afternoon. No big changes for the UP, although a bit more snow is now forecast for the Keweenaw and central UP.
