From Turbo and Diane tonight after their marathon run of 472, 480, & 8 from Kinross all the way to Brimley and back….
“We had a great day and I’m really glad we went to Brimley, the moguls were really bad, and the drifting was bad. We were able to widen the trail and make it pretty smooth. Remember we passed 137 sleds so the trail didn’t have time to set up but we cut the bumps out and it turned out awesome. Some places look like glass. Trail 472 had some corners that were pretty narrow, so we were able to widen and flatten them out.. So all and all it was a very good day, and 9 hours was well worth it.”

As he said, they didn’t get a great chance to set up but I rolled through there tonight and there were no moguls, just some chatter bumps. Warm tomorrow will mean they’ll fall apart quickly but we’ll be back out when it make sense to do so!

Jay and I hit the city trails last night and they are in good shape. Some choppy spots due to heavier traffic earlier, but we smoothed them out as best we could and saw very little traffic on our run.
Snow was falling the whole run and should be a beautiful ride in the morning.
