TRAIL REPORT, Saturday, February 11, 2023 7:30 a.m. GREAT WEEKEND FOR WARM WEATHER RIDING! Overall Trails were grooming out good again last night and in Very Good condition. Looks like the next 5 days or so are going to be warm. Grooming operations will be adjusted based on snow conditions and groomability. For now trails are great so get out and enjoy them, Water Hazards on Trail 418 are also gone now but there is still a depression at the West hole location (marked with stop and stop ahead signs). Keep a close eye on trail conditions as you ride and stay right. Stay tuned for updates! Groomer was out last night and tonight to take advantage of the cold temps. Warm weather is definitely messing with the trail conditions throughout the day and it is getting rougher as the temps rise. We are not seeing anything promising for temps until late next week. We will do what we can, but don’t have high hopes for flat trails. It just isn’t in the cards. Blizzard Warnings have moved South to include Leelanau, Emmet, Cheboygan, Southeastn Chippewa, Mackinac Island/Bois Blanc, Beaver Island. Ice Storm Warnings have moved South to include Wexford, Missaukee, Oscoda, Alcona and Alpena Counties. Winter Weather Advisories now include Clare, Osceola Counties.
The warm line is farther South keeping higher totals North. Winds continue to pick up along with the snow tonight.
