Baldwin Area Trail Report – 01/19

BALDWIN AREA UPDATE via Trailriders Snowmobile Club – 01/19

We are ready for you this weekend. Our entire system has been groomed. Groomers will continue to run throughout the entire weekend. Conditions are great in some areas and thin in others. I’m sure you will enjoy what we have done. Please stay on the trail and slow down. We have a lot of families that ride our trails, let’s make sure everybody comes home safe. Please post your pictures from the weekend here. Don’t forget our club meeting next Saturday night at the groomer barn.

Michigan Snowmobile Trail Report

BALDWIN AREA UPDATE via Trailriders Snowmobile Club >> 1/23 PM Update: The truck stuck on trail has been removed. Please use caution as there are likely ruts and damage In the area from removal.
1/23 Update: The middle trails (3, 320, and 324) from Baldwin south to woodland park area, were groomed yesterday.
🚨 There is an abandoned truck stuck in the middle of trail 3 between 16 mile and 13 mile in Northern Newaygo county near Walkup Lake. It is about 1-1.5miles north of 13mile. The Sheriff is working with the vehicle owner to get it out of there by 1pm today. Once removed, there will likely be rut damage and potentially an area of snow plowed off the trail so use caution until we can get in there tomorrow to fix it. 🚨
We will be out grooming starting in the afternoon hours the next few days due to the extreme cold and for the safety of operators. Please use caution if you are out riding as we could be around any corner. Ride right, ride safe, and please be prepared for the extreme cold. #baldwinarea #snowphotos

BALDWIN AREA UPDATE via Trailriders Snowmobile Club >> 1/22 Update: The north and rail trails were groomed last night (3,35,340 and 30). We plan to do the middle trail tonight and will alternate days since we only have 1 tractor to cover both sections from Baldwin. If you ride, be prepared for the cold and blowing snow. There could be hazards from the wind in the trails. Please ride right and ride safe and sober. #baldwinarea #snowphotos ... See MoreSee Less
