1/24 update
Good morning all!
Turbo and Diane were out yesterday evening into the early morning hours on 8, 889, and 480 in the Bay Mills/Brimley/ Raco areas.
I had to screen shot their report, so hopefully you can read it ok. I’m sure they’re getting some well deserved rest, and I’ll try to update the post with the text version of the report once I hear from them.
We all know the warm up begins today, so they set them up as best they could while it was cold to try and preserve what we have.
Here are some photos of the good and bad on their run, along with what Turbo had to say.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> Extremely cold temperatures and wind chills continue today into Saturday morning while lake effect snow continues over the NW wind snowbelts. Frostbite can occur in less than 10 minutes on exposed skin in this weather. WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> Impactful winter weather remains in the forecast with NW wind lake effect snow through Thursday followed by dangerous temperatures / wind chills late Thursday through Saturday morning.

Good morning! Bryan and his son Logan hit the city trails last night and also 49 down to 7 mile and they turned out great! The little streams behind Kewadin Casino are still flowing (see the video in the comments) even with all of the cold, but our bridges have made a huge difference in there! There is one spot along the Kewadin trail that is soft and we keep filling it in as best we can. Likely a nonissue for the weight of a sled, but worth mentioning.

Groomer Pat hit the Kinross east loop this evening. This is 49 south of M80 and the 494 loop (one of my favorites!)
