Lake Gogebic Webcam

If our temps aren’t below zero they are 30 or above. We just can’t seem to get a break. Our temps for this week are not looking good. Temps from Wednesday through Saturday are going to be in the 40’s with a chance of rain on Friday. Just when things were shaping up nice. Hang in there our temps will get back to normal next weekend.

The Gogebic Range Trail Authority reports:

Trails will be deteriorated quickly this week. After Wednesday night groomers will not be able to go out the rest of the week. They will go back out as soon as the weather permits them. We will keep you up dated so hang in there.

Trails 11N,11s, and trial 160 are closed. Hopefully, the southern half of 160 will reopen the middle part January

Lake Gogebic Area Groomer Report

With our warmer temps our groomers will only run at night weather permitting. We still have lots of snow so with this warmer weather if it stays cloudy our snow should hold up. Sorry I don’t have better news but we will keep you posted.

PLEASE DO NOT RIDE THE HWY. IN BERGLAND FROM JW’S RESTAURANT TO THE GAS STATION!!! YOU WILL BE TICKETED. YOU MUST TAKE THE TRAIL AND CROSS AT ANTONIO’S RESTAURANT TO ACCESS THE GAS STATION. THANK YOU.

*If you’d like additional information about our area please contact The Lake Gogebic Area Chamber of Commerce at 888.GOGEBIC or www.lakegogebicarea.com. You can also email us at info@lakegogebicarea.com. Hope we see you soon – for those of you already up here have a safe ride!

U.P. Thunder Riders of Watersmeet Groomers Report:

All trails are in very good condition. Grooming is still ongoing. We will keep you posted with the warmer weather.

Please stay on trails, riding on unmarked trails can result is the clubs losing easement for the trail. So Please say on trails…..
