Ontonagon Trail Report – 01/12
ONTONAGON AREA UPDATE via North Country Snowmobile Club UP – Trail Report: We have a groomer down and out for the night. we are hoping to have it up and going again for tomorrow.
In the meanwhile, our crews are going to double up tonight to get the rest of our system groomed. ( Trail 11 N – South Boundary Road), was done this AM.
FYI – 50 sleds went by on Trail 1 as I took these pictures and talked to the operators. It’s gonna be crazy busy this week-end.
The groomers are out, please ride with caution. Tyler and Colleen are out on a training run headed north on Trail 137 (the railroad grade) between Ontonagon and Rockland right now and headed down Trail 12 to Greenland next.
Randy and Larry are on a training run on Trail 12 running the LP Walsh Road and then down Trail 101 to Trail 13 and back.
We’re training additional operators to cover more ground every day if possible, to give you the best trails we can!
