SIDNAW – WESTERN U.P. Stay warm, stay safe, and as always… Ride Right, Lead Right — and remember, the groomer always has the right of way! <> SIDNAW – WESTERN U.P. via Sno Valley Riders Snowmobile Club >> 12/24 Groomer Report: Not much has changed in the last few days, all of our trials are open and groomed. It is still early season riding in many areas, watch out for wet spots and some thin snow areas. Overall I am calling our trails FAIR, there are some areas that are excellent and some that are not great but all are rideable. Stay on the trail, if you don’t we could lose trail permissions on private property. Groomers have the right of way on the trails, pull over and stop to let them safely pass! We now have Groomer Tracker installed in our groomers. We groom every day that the weather conditions and equipment allow. Expecting most locations to warm above freezing during the day and then fall below freezing overnight. Looking at the upcoming unseasonably warm temperatures, we will be suspending grooming Friday and Saturday. We have plenty of snow but with warm temperatures and high weekend traffic trail conditions will change quickly. We will keep an eye on the weather and get groomers out when weather allows.
