Paradise Area Trail Report – 01/14

January 14, 2018

6 degrees this morning and a beautiful blue sky. It sure is nice seeing the sun every now and again in the winter. Picked up about 3 inches on my deck last night too. I`ve got great news so lets get to it…..

Our plan worked out perfectly!!!! Groomer Mike got the swamp filled in good enough and Groomer Jack went through with a drag. WE OPENED THE GATES to the swamp south of town!!!! Be careful in there though. There are a couple of slushy spots and a couple of narrow spots but Grandpa and Grandma on a two up sled can get through!!!!! I want to say this again…..be careful in there. Please DO NOT go flying through there and tear it up. If you do we`ll be back to square one!!! Groomer Jack did run the rest of Trail #8 south. He said it was tore up pretty bad but got it back to decent shape. He did rate it as good though.

Me and Groomer Larry ran the Falls Trail #45. The traffic was INSANE on it last night. It also was tore up pretty bad but we got `er a little better. Groomer Scott is gonna run it again tonight. I am gonna have to down grade it a bit to just good but by tomorrow after Scott runs it we should be better.

Groomer Gerald is hittin the Pine Stump Trail #8 this afternoon.

We are runnin like a well oiled machine now. All 3 machines are runnin good…..I hope I didn`t just jinx us.

I feel confident now to say…..COME ON UP….you can get anywhere and you`ll have a blast!!!!!

One more thing. PLEASE slow down in town. You IDIOTS are gonna ruin it for the rest of us!!!!! PLEASE SLOW DOWN!!! The law has been notified.

Groomer Chris
