Boy was last night’s sunset something else! If you haven’t experienced a late winter sunset in the U.P., YOU NEED TO! Trails are seeing very little traffic and they remain in the best shape of the season.

We are still working to widen sections of trails, but all have been groomed 4-6times (8-12 passes) or more since the last big blast of snow and they are all flat and fast!!

There is another storm forecast for Sunday, looking like 6-12" so far but we shall see.

Trail 2 from Ironwood to Marenisco and trail 8 was groomed yesterday. Everything is flat smooth and ready for you!

We’ll OPEN at NOON today, Wednesday, March 6th, (rather than scheduled 4pm) … due to the good snow and trail conditions!

Report from the groomer 2/27/19. All trails have been groomed since Sundays storm and are in excellent condition. Trails are flat with a new layer overnight. Come on up and ride, groomers will be out morning and night until spring thaw. Check out the Groomer Tracker app for your phone to see your trail permits hard at work by our volunteer drivers. Take advantage of the season and remember to ride right.

33 Rd Staging Area–S of M-55–approx.. 3 miles west of Cadillac on M-55 (watch for signs)

Caberfae Staging Area–approx.. 12 miles west of Cadillac on M-55 (watch for signs)

Boon Staging Area–park in plowed area south of Boon Grocery

Note: The porta-a-johns were removed from our staging areas today as our contracts on them expired 3-15-13.
