HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club >> We had all three groomers out last night & they sure did have their work cut out for them. Unfortunately with the amount of trees down we were unable to get through the entire trail system. It took one opperator four hours to make it only 8 miles. The only areas that didn’t get groomed was Trail 704 Melody Lane & Gregory Road, 71/710 Cross Village Loop, & the 710 Spur from Big Pine to Warwick Road. The trails are in good shape & it’s a great day to get out and ride. Please use caution in the non groomed areas as there are likely trees down and big drifts. We are hoping to have someone available tonight to groom the remaning sections. ⚠️🪵 There is still an active logging operation on Trail 71 from Brutus road to the Alanson Trail intersection. ⚠️🛑 There is an upcoming trail closure: Trail 7 (the railroad grade) will be closed from Trails End Road to Cadillac St in Mackinaw City starting Monday 1/5 for 3-5 days while soil testing is conducted. KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Western UP Trail Reports >>
Saturday January 11th
24 hrs snow: 3 inches
It looks like Keweenaw made a run north last night. They made it up to clear lake junction around to Bete Grise and out to Eagle Harbor. They got a little snow yesterday but Brockway is most likely still not a good idea.
On the south end Superior ran Toivola to Mass City. Plus some action out of Ontonagon and a little down by Gogebic.
Get the Groomer Tracker app on. Your phone so you can keep up with what’s getting or not getting groomed.
