KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Western UP Trail Reports >>
Saturday January 11th
24 hrs snow: 3 inches
It looks like Keweenaw made a run north last night. They made it up to clear lake junction around to Bete Grise and out to Eagle Harbor. They got a little snow yesterday but Brockway is most likely still not a good idea.
On the south end Superior ran Toivola to Mass City. Plus some action out of Ontonagon and a little down by Gogebic.
Get the Groomer Tracker app on. Your phone so you can keep up with what’s getting or not getting groomed.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> One last warm and sunny day is expected to start off the work week, with afternoon highs ranging in the 40s and 50s. However, things quickly take a turn as a winter storm heads towards the region. This kicks off an initial batch of light snow late tonight, persisting into Tuesday morning. A brief break Tuesday afternoon will be followed by more light to moderate snow Tuesday evening through Wednesday. Exact amounts remain uncertain, but confidence is increasing in at least a few inches of snow for much of the area by Wednesday evening. #miweather #keweenaw#westernup#marquette#munising #seney #newberry #sooOne last warm and sunny day is expected to start off the work week, with afternoon highs ranging in the 40s and 50s. KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Keweenaw Trail Reports >> Are you done riding for the season already?! How many miles did you get this year? This is March riding! Perfect bluebird day and even though it’s currently 43 degrees, trails are beautiful!!!Groomers were out last night and trails locked up hard as could be after. Riding last night lead to some warmer engine temps if you were riding without scratchers, but no problems today! Plenty of good riding to be done the rest of the month! Personally these are some of my favorite days to ride! We have had 296 inches of snow so far for the season! February ended with 80 inches for a month total and there is currently over 48 inches of snow left on the ground! Time for a delicious lunch at The Mariner North. Notice the nice looking rental sleds from M&M PowerSports! Perfect choice if you are looking to experience riding the Keweenaw but don’t own your own sled! #keweenaw#snowphotos... See MoreSee Less
