TRAVERSE CITY AREA UPDATE via Grand Traverse Area Snowmobile Club >> 12/30 And with the wind, down come the tree’s! A group of members went out today to take care of the downed tree’s on the South and West trails. There is still more that needs to be completed, so be aware if you are out riding. Special thanks to Paul, David, Pat, Steve and Jeff for volunteering their time. Thanks to the group of riders coming from Kingsley that helped out with one of the tree’s. Also, thanks to the gentleman from Fife Lake that came with a large chain saws for a big tree that had fallen there. It takes everyone lending a hand to keep these trails safe. The trails are being panned and the groomer drivers are reporting numerous water holes due to the rain we received prior to the snow. Be careful out there.
