CADILLAC AREA UPDATE via Coyote Crossing Resort – 3/25

Get your last ride of the season in! We’ve gotten 6” of heavy wet snow …

Some sledders & quads have ridden to Coyote. The snowmobilers said the trails are good!

To better access the forest trails, you’ll want to use one of the Staging Areas below:

33 Rd Staging Area–S of M-55–approx.. 3 miles west of Cadillac on M-55 (watch for signs)

Caberfae Staging Area–approx.. 12 miles west of Cadillac on M-55 (watch for signs)

Boon Staging Area–park in plowed area south of Boon Grocery

Note: The porta-a-johns were removed from our staging areas today as our contracts on them expired 3-15-13.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> A system passing to our south will bring another round of light snow to the area through Wednesday morning. WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Cold temperatures and continued brisk winds tonight will result in bitter cold wind chills of -10°F to -24°F across northern Michigan this morning. Be sure to take the proper precautions if spending time outdoors! Conditions improve this afternoon.
Good chances for snow showers will continue this week. After the cold today, temperatures rebound a bit Wednesday, but that will not last. Cold air starts to return on Thursday, and Friday looks to be perhaps the coldest day of the winter so far. #miweather #gaylord #cadillac #benzie #traversecity #petoskey
