Paradise Area Trail Report – 01/11

January 11, 2016 – This morning it is 12 degrees out der and it is snowing!! Looks like we got about 4 inches from yesterday and last night.

Now folks, I am NOT a weatherman and never claimed to be. We are getting alot of calls asking about what the weekend is looking like. I look all over the computer on weather sites and can only guess like you can. I ain`t got no magic crystal ball!! I look mainly at wind direction and temps, thats kinda the main thing UP here on incoming weather.

Different sites are calling for different amounts of snow but they are all calling for some good amounts. Some say 1-3, some say 4-8 and some say more. All in all, it looks good for this coming weekend….FINALLY. Enough on the weather….now on to the trails like this report is supposed to be.

We have not got the groomers out since last weekend…just not enough snow. The way it is looking we will get them out SOON!! I`ll bet ya tomorrow, but I gotta talk to the boss. Trail #45 to the Falls is still closed and Trail #8 going south is still closed. The gates are closed on these trails so don`t go around them!!! Trail #8 heading west is ridable, thats about the only one open in this area for now.

It is really snowing hard out right now…YEA!!! Keep checking back, I think I`ll have more good news for ya tomorrow morning.

Traverse City Trail Report – Blue Sky Snowmobile Rentals – 01/10

We did get anywhere from 4-8 inches throughout the trail system.

Word is they are grooming nicely. Still a little bumpy in spots but with fresh snow expected to fall daily the trails will get better and better as the week goes on.

We have a few sleds available for rent next weekend and are pretty wide open all week.

Come on up and ride. 231-633-2583. Www.bluesky-Tvc.com
