Traverse City Trail Report – 01/18

Trail Report…….Well as many of you know, the snow has been coming and coming all weekend. We have received any where from 12-24″ in the last 48 hours and it is still coming down. The weekend traffic was crazy, and the trails were really beat up. However, the groomers are running tonight and will continue to run all week.

Winter has arrived with a vengeance!

Going to update our trails to a good-excellent rating, after we get everything groomed up from the weekend we might go to excellent!

This is the Keweenaw Snowmobile Trail System Report for Monday, January 16, 2016.

Snowmobile trails from Twin Lakes to Copper Harbor are open. The groomers are out and trails are in good condition.

Remember to watch out for the groomers when you’re out on the trails, they have the right of way!!

The Keweenaw Convention & Visitors Bureau asks that you stay on the trails, STAY OFF THE ICE, respect private property, do not drink and drive, and above all else, please, drive safely. The signs on the trails are there for riders’ safety. Please DO NOT remove or destroy these signs. Please keep out of the Houghton City RV Park or we will no longer have access to this area of the trail.
