Gaylord Area Trail Report – 02/03
Gaylord Bureau –
February 1, 2024 – 10:40 a.m.
Trails are in very poor shape, with bare or wet patches due to the warm temperatures over the past few weeks. There are unrideable sections without any snow. We’ll keep you posted on how the weather is affecting the trails. Check back for updates and trail conditions.
Please remember that groomers have the right of way and kindly move off the trail so they can safely proceed. If you approach a groomer from behind, the operator will signal when it’s safe for you to pass. Groomers are here to make your ride more enjoyable so please be courteous!

A lot of frost on the trees and roofs this morning but not a flake of snow. All dirt as before. So I guess I am gonna head to the Soo and see how the running of the I 500 is going. Thanks for checking in. Pete

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Snow tapers this evening, leaving drizzle and freezing drizzle across eastern upper Michigan, which could lead to a glaze of ice. For northern lower, areas of drizzle will transition to a band of rain showers later tonight, perhaps ending as some snow showers / flurries.
