Gaylord Area Trail Report – 02/12

Gaylord Bureau –

February 12, 2024 – 9:31 a.m.

Temperatures have been warmer than usual this month, which has melted most of our snow. Trails are unrideable at this time and there is little snow expected in the extended forecast. We’ll keep you posted on any changes with the weather. Check back for updates and trail conditions.

Please remember that groomers have the right of way and kindly move off the trail so they can safely proceed. If you approach a groomer from behind, the operator will signal when it’s safe for you to pass. Groomers are here to make your ride more enjoyable so please be courteous!

As always, check back with us for updates and weather reports.

Sledheads of Frederic – 02/12

This is the year winter didnt show. Coming at you from downtown Frederic on a 37 degree and cloudy monday. Seeing some slight predictions of a little snow later in the week but if we do get some I stick to the story that it needs to be a bunch and it will only be good for those first ones on it. On the other hand Side bys and atv.s were out a bit from what I hear. Pic below is Jason Mccune and his group riding the trails on their atv/s around Frederic this weekend. I was a bit more comfy in the sun down south and should have stayed there. I think I have a total of about 200 miles in for the season. I wish I had something better to say. Think snow and MO MO NAH CHEE CHEE NAH….maybe for next season. Thanks for checking in. Pete
