MUNISING AREA UPDATE via Alger County Sorva – 12/31

TRAIL REPORT – Friday, December 31, 2021 9:00am

TRAILS HOLDING IN THERE! Unfortunately No new snow and No real changes. Light snow conditions and heavy sled traffic have our trail system in overall fair to good condition, poor in towns and near roadways. There are some icy corners, ice patches and dirty snow in the outlying areas so ride with caution. Operators were out grooming again last night but we really need some new snow soon. Looks like a few inches of snow in the forecast which is desperately needed to keep what we have from becoming worn out and unworkable.

Trails are expected to get choppy throughout the day so ride safe, stay right and enjoy! Keep doing the Cold Weather Snow Dancing and Stay Tuned for updates!

TRAIL REPORT – Tuesday, December 28, 2021 8:00am

OVERALL NICE RIDING! No real changes, our trail system is holding up with overall fair to good conditions, poor in towns and near roadways. There are some icy corners and ice patches in the outlying areas so ride with caution. Grooming resumed last night with good results but we will be watching this next snowfall before running again. When out riding be conservative to reduce base damage and watch for ice. Keep doing the Cold Weather Snow Dancing.
