MUNISING AREA UPDATE via TNT Trenary Northern Trails – 03/10

We did a Full groom end to end Thursday night. From the east end to Chatham the trail is still in good condition. From Chatham to Eben the snow is getting thin in several areas and the road crossings and short stretches of road are pretty much dirt. Eben to Rumely is in good shape still and Rumely to Little Lake is still holding up pretty well although the base we had took a pretty good beating this week with the warm Temps and sunshine, some parts of this stretch are starting to show dirt now.
With a little help from mother nature we may just make it till the end of the month but the trail won’t take too many more warm sunny days and be rideable end to end.

Michigan Snowmobile Trail Report

MUNISING AREA UPDATE via TNT Trenary Northern Trails >> This is the earliest we were able to successfully pan the whole trail since we have started grooming. Brandon was able to get almost everything relatively smooth. We need a little more snow to fill the ditch and freeze in the hole along CO RD 456. But the rest of the trail is in rideable early season shape. This year is shaping up to be far better than the last 2 years for snowfall in our area. With luck, we can have a successful season and with your help, we can keep it a safe one also. Please ride with caution and please ride safe all year! #munising #snowphotos ... See MoreSee Less

MUNISING AREA UPDATE via TNT Trenary Northern Trails – 03/08

Looking at the forecast, we may get through the weekend. Trail groomed out well, but the temps and sun are making everything wet and soft. Welcome to late season conditions. We will groom as long as we can, but we already have dirt starting to show in a couple areas. We don’t have our usual amount of base so the trail won’t last like it usually does. Get out and enjoy it while it lasts!
