MUNISING AREA UPDATE via Alger County SORVA – 2/1

TRAIL REPORT – Saturday, 02-01-2020
NICE RIDING CONDITIONS CONSIDERING….
Overall trail conditions are good to very good. Soft snow and ribbons not holding long but the base it hard and flat so very minimal chop developing through the day. Still, we really need a substantial snowfall to bind things together and keep the groomed ribbons lasting longer. The season is short so our theory is to keep the trails flat, riding a flat sugary trail is way more enjoyable than dealing with 3 foot moguls. We will continue to groom and do our best to at least keep the chop to a minimum. Keep the cold weather snow dancing going, Enjoy the Trails and Ride Safe! TRAIL REPORT – Friday, 1-31-2020
TRAILS HANGING IN THERE
Overall trail conditions are good to very good. We are saying conditions are good because of the soft snow and ribbons not holding. Still, we really need a substantial snowfall to bind things together and keep the groomed ribbons lasting longer. Looks like a warm weather weekend coming so conditions are expected to get choppy rather quick between grooming runs. We will continue to groom and do our best to at least keep the chop to a minimum. MUNISING AREA UPDATE via TNT Trenary Northern Trails​ – 1/30

Groomer is out for another run tonight! We need new snow and cold. Road crossings are soft and starting to get dirty. Trail is holding up well, but weekend traffic and another warm up will change that. Be prepared for trails to get rough in the afternoon this weekend…
